Only 15 miles from London make this Country Park a very popular escape into nature from the city. The main attraction is the lake, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Local Nature Reserve, but there are also extensive woodlands allowing for short or long walks lasting hours if one wishes. You will find nature trails and there is even a special cinematic trails as the famous Pinewood Studios are located nearby, and the woods were the location for scenes from movies such as The Crying Game, Dracula and Goldfinger. Close to the lake are picnic tables, children's adventure trail and a huge playing field where you can relax, play games and enjoy being outdoors. A great day out for all the family.
